Donald Phillips Obituary
Age 79 years, of Plum, passed away on Friday February 13, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Sandra L. Phillips; Father of Susan Lee (Donny) Thompson and Holly Lynn (Carl) Muffett; Grandparent of Richard Nicholson, Corinne Phillips and Axl Muffett. Preceded in death by His parents Elizabeth (Schreibeis) and Clifford Phillips and brother David Foster Phillips. Don was retired school teacher from Shenandoah school, part time at St. Bartholomew and nature counselor at Camp Deer during the summers where he was known as "Nature Don". Friends received Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held at 12 noon following visitation. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Red Cross, 225 Boulevard of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222.
