Donald Quin Obituary
Don retired from the City of Boston and recently worked for Hub Security. He was an avid sports fan and faithfully followed Boston College hockey and football and the Celtics. He was also a Drum Corp International fan attending competitions every season. It was only fitting for him to witness his favorite Corp; the Boston Crusaders win their first championship this past August. Don loved the beach, especially Green Harbor, Burke's Beach and Duxbury, where he spent the summer in the sun with family and friends!
Don was the son of the late Donald and Jean (Morrison) Quin of Brighton and is survived by his sister Kathleen Brennan and husband Timothy of Plymouth, MA, brothers Peter Quin of Bristol, RI, Paul Quin and wife Mary of Burnsville, MN and Stephen Quin of Brighton, MA, his niece and nephews, Timothy and Tabitha Brennan and Daniel and Michael Quin, and grand niece and nephew Ellie and Graeme Brennan, as well as many relatives and friends.
Don was a well-loved man and will be remembered for his kind and caring heart. Per Don's request, there will be no services. If you wish, you may donate to your favorite charity in Don's memory.

Dear Quin Family, It's been awhile since I've seen Donny, and I want to express my sincere condolences to the Quin Family. If there was one guy who was there for everyone in Allston and Brighton, it was Donny. Always a caring person and a friend to all. May God Bless Donny and his Family.

A Brighton original and a lifelong friend. His zeal for Boston´s professional sports teams, particularly the Celtics, will never be matched. I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace, brother, until we meet again.

Donnie was a legend in Brighton and great Commissioner of the BNBL Basketball league! A fantastic man who loved people and was loved by all ! Too many stories to tell but one is Larry Bird and Donnie drinking after NBA championship at DQ´s
Place. The phone was ringing off the hook once reporters Knew Bird was there! Bird says Donnie take that phone off the hook I´m tryin to enjoy by beer and I don´t need anyone bothering me! Hours and cases of beer later Bird says Donnie put that damn phone on the hook someone might be looking for me. DQ hangs phone up it rings ...Bird answers, MVP may I help
