Quin, Ron "Ronnie", 88 of Clearwater passed away quietly in his sleep on September 11, 2025 at his home at Gulfside Health and Rehabilitation center in Clearwater Florida.

Born in Peoria Illinois and raised in Kickapoo Illinois until moving to Clearwater Florida at age 36. Ron the second youngest was the last surviving sibling of 6 in his large family. He is survived by the following nieces, nephews and spouses; Margie & Steve O'Connor, Donna & Ron Smith, Michele & Bob Prunty, Bob & Pam Metz, Carla & Dan Moran, Anita & Ben Smith, Marti & Charlie Billstrand, Pat & Kerwood Watts, Candice & Carmin Ross, Cynthia & Tom Showalter, Greg Quin, proceeded in death by nephew Brad Quin, Elaine Quin, Brian & Heidi Roseman, Jalene Holeman, Denise & Jason Moore, Lucas & Leigh Roseman.

Ron was beloved by friends, co-workers, family, parishioners, customers and they would probably describe him something like this; humble, happy, smiling, love able, loving, caring, compassionate, loyal, giving, servant and a fun laugh you will not forget. His hobbies as a youth included swimming in the creek, riding trackers, shooting rifles, using his hunting knife, setting off fireworks, playing croquet. As an adult he would play lifeguard for his nieces & nephews, bowling, drive-in movies watching western movies, Monster truck jam, Buccaneers games, going to the movies, going to the local stock car races, going out in the boat, going out to eat BBQ ribs, A & W Rootbeer, attending every family holiday, birthday party. He simply enjoyed making people happy. For over 12+ years he took care of customers at Publix and for many more ushered people to their seats in 2 Catholic Churches with pride and joy. He was married for a short time early in life to Ms. Maureen Worsfold who he loved dearly. He made us proud and served in the Military as a Seabee.

A funeral mass is being held in Clearwater at St. Cecelia Catholic Church on Wednesday 11/5/25, at 1:30 pm.
