Paula Losch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Life Tribute Funeral Care - Largo on Feb. 25, 2026.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paula Jean (Bull) Losch at the age of 69. Paula passed away peacefully at home on Sunday February 22, 2026 in Seminole, Florida.

Paula was born on April 26, 1956 to Ronald (Bud) and Rita Bull in Clinton, Iowa. Paula was the third of six children raised on the Bull Family Farm in Mount Carroll, Illinois. She graduated from Mount Carroll High School in 1975.

In 1994, Paula married Tom Losch of Waukegan, Illinois. They welcomed their sons Tommy in September of 1994 and Timmy in October of 1995. They raised them primarily in Waukegan, Illinois.

Paula founded her life on caring for others and being centered in family. Paula stayed incredibly close to her siblings throughout her life. She followed some of her siblings down to Florida in 2017 and lived with her late sister Kathy and Kathy's life partner Lou.

Over the last fifteen years, Paula dedicated her time to helping the elderly in the nursing home. She enjoyed taking care of the residents and running errands for them. Paula loved spending time with her family and friends listening to music, going to the local legion and spending Sundays wearing her Bears apparel attending family dinner with her siblings.

Paula was a proud and loving mother to her sons Tommy and Timmy Losch. Throughout their childhood Paula enjoyed watching her sons find their passions, especially their love for sports. As they grew up, she continued to be one of their biggest cheerleaders, supporting them throughout college and their professional careers. Paula adored her sons and enjoyed spending time with them on visits to their homes and trips back to Thomson for family reunions.

Paula is survived by her loving sons, Tommy (Elizabeth) Losch, of Campbellsport, Wisconsin and Timmy Losch (Odalis Parra) of Waukegan, Illinois. Her siblings and their families, Rhonda (Marv) Cass, Ronald (Martha) Bull, Thomas Bull, and sister in-laws Joy Bull and Lou Burbach.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rita and Ronald (Bud) Bull, brother Donald (Donnie) Bull, and sister Kathleen (Kathy) Bull.

A private funeral service and burial will be held at a to be determined date in the Lower York Cemetery, Thomson, Illinois. A celebration of life will be held at a later date
