Donald Keith Ramey

Donald "Don" Keith Ramey left us peacefully on Thursday August 29th from Omak Washington. Don was born in Tonasket on May 3rd 1954 at Saint Martins Hospital to Keith and Dorthy Ramey. Don grew up in Omak as the middle child attending the elementary, middle and finally graduating from Omak High School in 1972. He then spent the next 37 years as a mill worker performing various positions during his career, after retiring from the mills he then worked for SunOpta where he was known for bringing home boxes of fruit snacks for the kids. Spending time in the woods cutting firewood with his father was a cherished time for Don. Always wearing a sports jersey he was a huge Colts fan having numerous players numbers sported for game days accompanied by his loyal dog Joe. Don was known by his neighbors living in his since 1980, he was a figure around town calling people by names at the local stores. Don was preceded in death by his Father Keith Ramey, his Mother Dorthy Davis, then survived by his older brother Gary Ramey, younger sister Holly Davis, Nephews Shane Ramey, Preston Ramey, Matthew Davis and Niece Courtney Davis. Great Nephew Dean Ramey and Great Niece Kira Ramey. Cremated and placed with his father Keith at the Okanogan Valley Memorial Cemetery with a send off given by Jack Snyder.
