I am so sorry of just now learned of the passing of Mark. He was such a sweet, funny gentleman. He assisted on few occasions at Phil Long Ford Chapel Hills. You only had to meet him once to see the kindness in him how he cared about people he loved his job and he loved life and his family. We talked a lot. I remember asking him, oh my gosh can I give you a hug you are so kind.
I know I´m finding out late, but my heart thoughts and prayers goes out to his family, his friends, his Phil Long Ford, family, and everyone that loved him, including all of his customers. I pray God will continue to give you all strength.

Mark's expertise and dedication upheld the integrity of automotive maintenance and customer-facing care. I have known Mark for thirty years. Mark went to work for my father-in-law when he started at Phil Long so many years ago, and my father-in-law always spoke very highly of him. I enjoyed my own relationship with Mark through several cars that I bought at the dealership (with his recommendations). Mark's skill and knowledge kept one of the cars that I bought on the road to 400K miles. Mark knew my wife and our children. More than a family friend, Mark was trusted by many people in our community. Mark will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to Carole and his family

This saddens me to hear of Mark's passing. I met Mark back in 1997 when I started working for what it was then known as Academy Ford. Mark was always my service advisor and he took such good care of me and my family's vehicles. He truly was an amazing man and will be greatly missed. I will keep the family and his friends in my prayers.
