Frances Byes Obituary
Frances was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived a long life, marked by devotion to her home and those she loved most. A wife, mother, and homemaker, she dedicated herself fully to her family, creating a foundation that extended across generations. She especially enjoyed trip to Cripple Creek, Colorado, a place that brought her lasting joy and memories.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John William Byes, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Frances is survived by her children: Bob and Sherry Byes of Kentucky; Pat Kelly of Colorado Springs; Bill and Linda Byes of Idaho; John and Paula Byes of Colorado Springs; and Debbie Ries and Bob Johnson of Colorado Springs. She also leaves behind a large and loving family legacy that includes 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A lifelong Roman Catholic, Frances' faith remained an important part of her life.
A memorial service will be held on March 17, 2026 at 11:00 am, at All Veterans Funeral and Cremation, 1020 E. Fillmore St. Colorado Springs, CO 80907, with a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery to follow.
