Donald Joseph Roache passed away peacefully at his home on August 23, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Palermo) Roache for 47 years.

Born in Brockton, MA, Don was the son of the late Joseph Roache and Esther (Sturdevant) Roache. He grew up in Whitman, MA, where he attended Whitman-Hanson High School, and later pursued higher education at Bentley Business School in Waltham, MA. Don was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a flight engineer during the Korean War era.

Don spent much of his career in sales, working for Bird & Son and the Eddie Goodman Co., and later bringing his warm personality and dedication to The Jeweler's Workbench at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua. Known for his strong work ethic, Don took pride in everything he did, whether on the job or at home.

He loved cruising the Caribbean, and was also a loyal Boston Red Sox fan. Don had a keen eye for antiques, a love of golf, and a true passion for cooking, often preparing meals that brought his family together and left lasting memories.

Above all, Don cherished time spent with his family. He is survived by Ruth and their two children: Gregg Roache and his wife Pam of Crown Point, Indiana; and Jeannine Mettinen and her husband Kari of Tilton, NH. Don is also survived by his grandchildren; Ina, Brittany, Nicole, and Katie. He also leaves behind his brother Lawrence "Larry" Roache and his wife Kathy of Whitman, MA, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Roache.

Relatives and friends are invited to Don's visitation on THURSDAY, September 4th from 6-8 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
