Mr. Robertson passed away on December 1, 2025, in Tyler.
Donald Clark Robertson was born on February 15, 1946, in Brownsboro, Texas, to Joseph Henry Robertson and Ira Bell (Green) Miller-Robertson. He graduated from Brownsboro High School in 1964 and subsequently served in Vietnam as a member of the Army's 35th Engineer Company. Donald was a longtime member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and belonged to Masonic Lodge #1051 in Brownsboro. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, yard work, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. Donald will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant son, Bradley Don Robertson; and his siblings, C.L. "Moe" Miller, John Miller, Vernice "Sonny" Miller, Bill Robertson, and Thomas Robertson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Brenda Robertson of Brownsboro; his children, Brad Robertson and wife Amber of Brownsboro and Stacy Crist and husband Carey of Lindale; his grandchildren, Haley McDonald and husband Brad of Flint, Abby Doring and husband Brett of Van, Collin Crist of Houston, and Ally Kate Robertson of Brownsboro; his great-grandchildren, Riley Grace Doring, Hudson McDonald, and Brady Doring; his siblings, Ethel Holt of Brownsboro and Emily "Sissy" Riddle and husband Joe of Canton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Sandy Wyatt, Milton Adair, Ronald Epperson, Guy Ray Purdue, Delman Parmer, and Ben Bearden. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hardin and George Rawls.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
