Donald Lee Robinette

Went to join his beloved wife of 67 years, Marie, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, age 99 years. Loving father of Don (Diane) Robinette, David ( Shirley ) Robinette, Sue ( Jim ) Koch, Mary Robinette, Tom ( Mary ) Robinette and Jim ( the late Tracey ) Robinette. Proud Grandfather of Kristi (Dan), Jason, Tara (Ryan), Rachel (Anthony), Aaron (Leah), Chad, Lyndsie (Elliot), Amanda (Collin), Ashley (Jade), Christopher (Courtney), Sarah (Justin), Brooke and the late Kyle. Dear brother of Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Louise, and was the middle child of 11 brothers and sisters. Further survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Donald was the owner/operator of the Standard Oil Service Station on S. 16th and W. Lincoln Ave. for 38 years retiring in 1991. He was a United States Navy veteran serving during World War II. In his retirement he enjoyed golfing with his family and friends and spent countless hours working on his landscaping and flowers, proudly receiving two beautification awards from the City of Greenfield.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Monday, September 22, 2025, 4:00-8:00 PM. Additional visitation on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 10-11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave., Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment and military honors to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
