Donald Franklin "Frank" Rutledge Jr, 95, entered eternal rest on August 18, 2025 in Cibolo, Texas. Frank was born in Crystal City, Texas on April 21, 1930 to Viola Matilda Shane Rutledge and Donald Franklin Rutledge Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 67 years Edwyna Crews Rutledge, and his sisters Ola Mae Rutledge Walker and Mary Jane "Myrt" Rutledge Fauver.

Frank is survived by his brother Jack Evans Rutledge and wife Jane of Uvalde, Texas. His son Donald Franklin Rutledge III and wife, Abbie of Austin, Texas. His daughter Cynthia Dee Rutledge Ferguson and husband Mike of New Braunfels, Texas. Grandchildren Hayley Rutledge, Gray Rutledge, Bryce Rutledge and McKayla Ferguson, all of Central Texas. Along with numerous nieces and nephews throughout the state.

The Rutledge Family will honor their loved one on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Carrizo Springs, where a memorial service will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Carrizo Springs.
