George is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Delia Martinez, children; Chris Alvarado and wife, Rochelle, Greg Alvarado and wife, Jennifer, and Georgia Ann Alvarado, sisters; Eloisa Cazares, Christina Vargas, and Yolanda McDonald, grandchildren; Emily Reinhart, Zachariah Alvarado, Elijah Alvarado, Isabelle Alvarado, Allison Alvarado, Damien Alvarado, Gavin Alvarado, and Jazlyn Alvarado, great grandchild; Anavaeh Alvarado, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The Alvarado family will honor their loved one on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs, Texas, where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe Cemetery in Asherton, Texas.
