Donald W. Sharp, 89, of Anna, Texas passed away on February 23, 2026 in Anna, Texas surrounded by his family. Donald was born on July 26. 1936 in Horatio, Arkansas to Willie Morris and Grace Sharp. He graduated from high school in Dallas, Texas and was in the Army until 1966. He married his wife, Mary Sue, in October of 1972. He retired from Sears after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Sharp; his sons, Billy and Donnie Sharp; one daughter-in-law, Amber Sharp; and two beautiful granddaughters, Abigail and Kensley Sharp.
Donald will be thoroughly missed for his amazing stories from his childhood, especially how he had to milk three cows and start the fire in the school house before all the other children arrived for school. His laughter and excitement for life will be truly missed. There will be no services as the family is taking care of his wishes privately.
