Donald Ray Shepherd, longtime resident of Kosciusko County, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the age of 55. He was born on November 24, 1969, the son of Olen and Susie Shepherd (Slone).

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly through fishing, hunting, and boating on the lake. His love for the outdoors was a defining aspect of his character, bringing him peace.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Shawntal (Esteven) Schmerber, and his grandchildren, Lucas, Da'Nylah, and Aiden. He is also survived by his siblings, Olen (Ann) Shepherd, John Shepherd, and Melissa Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his son, Jarred Miller, his parents, Olen and Susie Shepherd (Slone), and his siblings, Brenda Bagwell and William Shepherd.

Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with the care of Donald and his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home, 2000 Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN. The funeral service will begin at 2. He will be laid to rest at Mentone Cemetery.
