Donald Sibilio Obituary

Donald A. Sibilio
Donald A. Sibilio, a resident of Stamford, passed away on December 29, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital after battling a brief illness. Donald was 80 years old.
He was born and raised in Stamford and attended J. M. Wright Technical School. Donald was a general contractor who owned Darien Construction, Inc. He loved playing golf, going to St. Maarten, and adored spending time with his grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his sons, Jeff, and Brad Sibilio, his four grandchildren, Shelby, Logan, Carson and Luke, his brother John Sibilio, and sister-in-law Judy Valentine, as well as nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Arlene, and his sister Joan Sibilio.
Calling Hours will be held at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue Stamford, CT on Friday, January 3rd from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, January 4th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.

I cut Don's hair for many years and I'm just finding out about his passing. I had been texting his phone recently and not getting a response decided to check the obituaries. I am truly sorry to hear this news and want you to know he was a very kind man. I am truly sorry to the family. I will truly miss him.

You will be missed more then you know, it was so nice to see you weekly when you came to visit my mom, you always had tears in your eyes when mom said she was in pain, we will never forget you. Thank you for being you. Till we meet again. You will always be our cousin.
