Donald Stewart Obituary
Donald was a retired auto mechanic. He was a U.S. Marine Corps and Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam war. He was an avid fisherman, a master griller, and an animal lover.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Stewart; a daughter, Shara Stewart; his parents, Donald and Aline, nee Martin, Stewart, Sr.; and three brothers, David, Daniel, and Stephen Stewart.
Surviving are his daughter, Stephanie Peake of Alaska; two brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Stewart of St. Louis, MO and Ronald (Sheryl) Stewart of Collinsville, IL; a sister, Beverly Stewart of O'Fallon, IL; three sisters- in-law, Trudy Stewart of Trenton, IL, Rita Hubbard of MIllstadt, IL, and Cindy Mobley of Cahokia, IL; and a grandson, Michael. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.
In following Donald's wishes cremation was to be held. Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois was entrusted with the care of Mr. Stewart.
