Donald Tandy Obituary
With great love and sadness the family of Donald James Tandy, 70, announces his peaceful passing on July 5, 2022 with his beloved wife of 46 years, Christie, by his side.Don was such a people person who loved life & retirement. You could always hear his contagious, infectious laugh everywhere.
Don was born on September 19, 1951 in Peekskill, NY to Helen & Donald Tandy. He had a very lucrative sales career with Carlisle(Tensolite) Co. and a short, but successful stint at the A.E. Petshe Co. He won many awards and accolades including a free trip to Maui.
Don attended Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ where he became an avid Bruce Springsteen fan & we would go to concerts. When he was driving his retirement present (a Chevy Camaro convertible) all he would listen to was Bruce.
Don enjoyed playing golf & going to our club with his buddies for lunch and drinks.
Don was preceded in death by his parents & many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Christie, & his beloved 22 year fur baby Clyde. He still has several cousins living in NY.
A Celebration of Life to honor Don will take place at the JGCC clubhouse on Sunday, July 17th from 4 to
6pm.
In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or Best Friends Animals Society.

It is with great sadness to hear the news about Don. He was one of my favorite clients as we enjoyed serving his mother at The Palms. After his mother's passing, Don would come back and visit with us and always brightened our day with his infectious laugh. Rest In Peace Don.
