Donald was a graduate of Maple Grove High School, Class of 1975. He worked as a Carpenter most of his life, working with local 66 for many years and more recently for D&S Glass Services, Inc., Jamestown, for approximately 3 years. Donald loved fishing and lived life "on his terms".
Survivors include two brothers, Tom "Moto" (Donna) Thompson, of Stockton; and Robert Thompson, of Ellery. Also surviving are a niece Melissa Sweeney, three nephews Thomas Thompson Jr., Daniel Thompson, Robert Thompson Jr. and very good friend Kathy Ross of Jamestown.
There will be no funeral services observed. The family suggests memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750. Arrangements are by Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville. To post condolences or memories go to www.rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com.
