Donald Thordsen Obituary
Donald (Don) Arthur Thordsen Jr. entered life on March 10, 1961, in Shreveport, Louisiana, born to Lottie and Donald A. Thordsen Sr.
He entered into Eternal Life on July 12, 2025, at his home in Broomfield, Colorado.
Don had served in the US Army at Fort Carson, Colorado, for a 2-year station in Infantry and Logistics, at the LD3 Level of Training.
For over 30 years, Don dedicated his career to the State of Colorado before retiring. He was an avid drag car racer, with a deep love of cars, especially hot rods. A jack of all trades, whether it was working on cars or tackling home repairs for anyone who needed help. His heart was truly full of love and joy.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Lottie and Donald A. Thordsen Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Sonya Thordsen, and his devoted fiancée, Darla Chavez. He also leaves behind several cousins residing in Iowa and Minnesota.
Don's memory will be forever treasured by all who knew him.
