It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Donald Ulysses Watson.

Donald Ulysses Watson, a beloved Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend transitioned on August 4, 2025 in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born on December 23, 1953. A native of Sebring, Florida to the late Charles F. Watson and TommieThenia Mason Watson. He studied at Sebring High School and graduated in 1971.

Survivors includes three loving children, Carlton Watson of New Jersey, Tamakia Watson of Avon Park, FL, and Justin Lewis in of Sebring, FL and a special Godson, Elijah N. Bruce of Tallahassee, FL; four sisters, Cynthia Cann (Albert), Debra, Gail and Rhonda Watson; four brothers, Charles, Minister Raymond (Coretta), Calvin Watson and Selvin Walker (Samara); seven grandchildren, Kiayana, Pinckney, Andre, Damonte, Carmelo, Ariana and Aaliyah Watson.

Donald spent in past years working with the City of Sebring in Sebring Florida and as a school crossing guard for the Leon County School Board in Tallahassee Florida, ensuring the safety of the children. He passed served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher as a member of the Board of Trustees and served at times as a Food Bank volunteer while attending Greater Love Church of God in Christ in Tallahassee, FL under the leadership of the late Elder Charles J. Brantley and Dr. Eric L. Johnson.

Memorial service will be 12:00 (Noon) Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Strong & Jones Chapel.
