Mrs. Doncie Ann Harrison was born August 25, 1951 in Donelson, Tennessee to the union of Edgar Hamilton and Christine Evans Hamilton. She was the eldest of 6 children. Our beloved Doncie went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Doncie accepted Christ in her life at a young age. She later in life moved her membership to New Faith Baptist Church.

She lived a honest and hard working life by following her dreams. Doncie was educated in the Nashville Davidson Schools. She was a graduate of Donelson High School and continued her education by attending Nursing School at St. Thomas Hospital.

Doncie married Mark A Harrison in 1997. She was employed by St. Thomas Hospital for over 30 years. She also was employed by Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital for over 15 years.

In her spare time Doncie enjoyed reading and was a member of a book club. She had a passion for caring for others.

She was preceded in death by son, Robert Jetton, III, parents, Edgar and Christine Hamilton, brother, Edgar Hamilton, Jr. and nephew, Jeremy Dupree.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Mark A. Harrison, son, Myron Jetton, grandchildren, Aaliyah Jetton, and Lachonti Wright, Alexandria Onyebuagu, Jeremiah Jetton, great-grandchildren, Layla Rose Jetton, Jayce Jetton, Akari Jetton, sisters, Vera Jean (John) Williams, Linda Grant, Deborah (Michael) Thompson, Edgwina (Derrick) Mobley, nephew, Mario (Monica) Brown, Saleemah Williams, Christina Grant, Trinity Mobley, Savannah Thompson, devoted friends/sisters, Cheryl Gilberry, Jeralyn Grant, Miriam Pollock, Regina Carr, Sondra Sherman a host of other relatives and friends.
