With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donell Elaine Davis, of White Oak, Texas, who departed this world on March 24, 2026, at the age of 63. Donell's spirit was a radiant tapestry woven from the strands of kindness, resilience, and unwavering compassion. Throughout her life, she lovingly nurtured both the people and animals around her, leaving behind a legacy that will forever warm our hearts. Born on October 24, 1962, in White Oak, Texas, Donell is preceded in death by Kenneth and Lonnie Davis, her brothers. She embraced life with the grace and determination of a true adventurer, embarking on a rewarding career with American Airlines. Through this role, she soared across the skies, forming connections and friendships that spanned far and wide. Though her journey was not without its challenges, Donell's 32 years of recovery were a testament to her enduring strength and unyielding spirit. Recently celebrating her 12-year sobriety chip, she embodied the belief that every day is a gift, sharing her wisdom and love with those fortunate enough to cross her path. Donell's light touched many lives, and her infectious laughter will echo in our memories forever. Survived by her devoted brother and sister-in-law, Chip and Jennie Feagin, Donell leaves behind an immense family of friends who will miss her dearly. Her generous heart found solace in giving, and she thoughtfully left funds in her will to support her favorite charities, ensuring her legacy of compassion will endure beyond her earthly time. Donell was a lover of fishing, often finding peace among the gentle ripples of water, where she could reflect and connect with nature. Her love for animals mirrored her kindness toward people, making her a cherished figure to many. She was also a faithful servant of the Lord, and spread The Word whenever and where ever she was able. In honoring Donell's remarkable life, we will gather to celebrate her memory and the indelible impact she made on our lives. Funeral services will be held at a date to be announced, as we seek to unite in reverence and gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with her. Her wishes for cremation will be fulfilled at a serene location in Longview, Texas, providing an eternal resting place amidst the beauty she so loved. In lieu of flowers, we encourage all who knew and loved Donell to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice, allowing her selfless spirit to continue touching lives and spreading kindness. May her soul find peace, and may we remember her always with love, laughter, and fond reminiscence.
