Donita Rae Donovan 71, of Indianapolis passed away on September 11, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1953, in Oak Park Illinois to the late Donald & Marjorie Donovan.

Donita was the mother of four children who survive her: Dawn (Bryan) Black, Jennifer Morin, Jesse Morin, and Steven Morin. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.

Throughout her life, she worked on and off in the screen-printing industry, a trade that she enjoyed, and at times she was a stay-at-home mom. Family was important to her, and she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her own special way.

Nothing could be more relevant than she lived in the hearts of her children and her brother, no matter the distance they felt.

She will be remembered by her family for her unique spirit and style and the love she carried for those closest to her.

Along with her children Donita is survived by her grandchildren; Shelbi, Devin, Blake, Sydney, and Christian, great-grandchildren; Jaxton, Oliver, Oakley, Piper, and Noela, and brother; Shawn Donovan.

Donita is preceded in death by her brothers; Terry & Brian Donovan.
