Donna Adams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home - Lewisville on Jan. 28, 2026.
Donna Gay Adams (née Dobson), 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 23, 2026, in Frisco, Texas. Born on November 10, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, she lived a life marked by intelligence, humor, and a deep love for those around her.

Donna was the daughter of Thomas and Nellie Dobson and grew up in Missouri alongside her siblings. She graduated from Belton High School in Belton, Missouri, and later pursued higher education at William Jewel College in Liberty, MO. Her academic journey laid the foundation for a successful professional career.

Donna built a distinguished career at Globe Life Insurance, where she was highly promoted and regarded for her dedication and excellence. Her work ethic and professionalism earned her the respect of colleagues.

Faith played an important role throughout Donna's life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of The Colony, where she actively volunteered and embraced her Christian beliefs with sincerity and grace.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; especially attending their performances, concerts, and games. She also liked reading, spending time with friends and wouldn't turn down a good puzzle.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Bekah Adams and Jane Abkes, son Chris Adams; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and sister Sandra Holdeman. Donna was preceded in death by her father Thomas Dobson, mother Nellie Dobson, brother Tommy Dobson, and son Keith Adams Jr.

Donna welcomed all and was a second mother to many. She had big heart and was a beacon of stability to all who knew her. Her fondest memories were made in the everyday moments of life just being surrounded by those she loved. Her memory will bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home at 740 S Edmonds Lane, Lewisville TX.
