Donna Healy Amini

Donna Healy Amini, born November 13, 1947, and entered eternal paradise on Easter Sunday March 31, 2024. Preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Bergensky, Aunt Nina (Taliani) Bergensky, and her Uncle Chuck Bergensky.
Donna loved nature and was an advocate for animals and protecting the environment. She treasured the simple things in life and was lifted by blooming flowers and God's creatures. Friends shared stories of how Donna's backseat would be filled with animal foods as she often stopped to feed birds, squirrels, and strays. During her career she was recognized as a dependable team member who got the job done.
Surviving her double lung transplant for more than 14 years, led by her tenacity and faith in her savior was an inspiration to us all. Her faith carried her through many of life's twists and turns giving her strength and a peace that overcame her as she was called home. We will miss her sense of humor, her engaging conversation, and her soft caring eyes. Let us celebrate her life and all she meant to us, finding peace knowing she is pain free and surrounded by love.
