Donna Jean Arnold passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2023, at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family in Rochester, MN. Donna was born on July 10th, 1935, to Joseph and Margaret Faulhaber in Rochester. She graduated from Lourdes High School in 1953. On September 22nd, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Henry Arnold. The two were married for 48 years until Wayne's passing in 2005. Together, Donna and Wayne had five children and twelve grandchildren, traveled to four continents, and lived in Rochester, Wabasha, and Bradenton, FL.
Donna loved spending time with her family, golfing, traveling, baking, cooking, shopping, and enjoying an occasional dirty martini. Donna was a devout Catholic and long-time member of the Holy Spirit parish in Rochester. She was also a prolific fundraiser for charities, especially for Catholic mission trips, veterans, Rochester Lourdes High School, and the ALS Association.
She is survived by her children Cindy (Dan), Mike (Rebecca), Colleen (Jeff), Mary, and Craig (Danaca); brother Jim (Bev); grandchildren Kristyn, Alek (Damara), Trevor (Jon), Tom, Alyssa (Ketin), Alena, Joe, Maddi (Brian), Emily, Hayley, Noah, and Ali; as well as great-grandchildren Riley, Roman, and Kohin.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wayne, her brothers Richard and Paul, and her son-in-law Chuck.
Donna's family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the staff of Cascade Creek Memory Care for the wonderful care they provided Donna in the last months of her life.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Loomis officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family would prefer donations to www.parkinsons.org or www.raceagainstdementia.com.

When one of her sons visited her at Cascade and reminded her that she should eat her vegetables because she´d always insisted they eat theirs. She wasn´t convinced! She took good care of that baby doll and must have been a great mom.
