Donna E. Becker passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, with her children at her side. She was 85 years old.
She was a graduate of La Salette Academy in Covington, KY, studied at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and later worked as a registered nurse anesthetist. While her children were young, she was an active member of St. Agnes parish, enjoyed golfing, and taught herself to crochet. Her baby blankets were coveted gifts.
After the death of her husband, Donna moved to downtown Cincinnati,volunteering her time as a docent at the Taft Museum where she gave tours and worked with local artists and school children. She enjoyed traveling with her many friends, was an avid reader, and an exceptional grandmother. During the pandemic, Donna elected to participate in an early pharmaceutical study that helped develop the Covid vaccine.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Becker.She is survived by her children, Sharon (Rudy) Berk, Stephen (Marci) Becker, John (Michelle) Becker and Andy (Carrie Jones) Becker; grandchildren, Lucille, Fiona, Autumn, Chloe, Jack and Katie.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3rd from 10:00 am until time of service at11:00 am at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pk., Ft. Wright,KY 41017. Sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263 or to Free Store Food Bank, 112 E. Liberty St., Cincinnati, OH 45202.
