Born on February 16, 1943, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Eugene and Gertrude Muehling, Taffy was a spirited soul who brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered.
Taffy's life was one of devotion and service, marked by her unwavering support as a military wife to her beloved husband, Earl "Mike" Bibee for 61 years. Together, they navigated the challenges of military life with grace and resilience, creating a loving environment for their children Deanna Gillette, Shawn (Joanette) Bibee, Andrea Lacentra, Shane (Deanna) Bibee, and Heather (Anthony) Mills. Taffy's legacy of love continued to flourish through her cherished grandchildren Joe (Laura), Shawn, Cheyenne, Haley, Karleigh, Emily, Megan, and Colton, as well as her adored great-grandchildren Dominic, Isabella, Charlotte, Camrynn, and Kyleigh.
Taffy's early years saw her attending stewardess school on the East Coast, where she honed her natural ability to care for and connect with others. Her brother Gene Muehling survives her, carrying forward the memories of their shared childhood.
Throughout her life, Taffy's interests reflected her loving and generous spirit. She had a passion for traveling, exploring new places, and embracing her children and grandchildren's accomplishments in person wherever that took her. Her hands could be found in the soil of her garden, nurturing life with the same tenderness she showed to her family and friends. Taffy's faith was a cornerstone of her existence, as she actively participated in bible studies and church activities, embodying the teachings of compassion and kindness.
Taffy's commitment to her community was evident in her role as a dance coach at the local high school, where she inspired countless young individuals to pursue their passions with confidence and grace. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, and her generosity knew no bounds. Taffy's ability to uplift others was a testament to her loving nature, and she will be remembered for the countless lives she touched.
