Donna Bostedt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - De Pere on Jan. 27, 2026.
Donna M Bostedt "Bates", 89, West De Pere, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. She was born May 16,1936, to Peter H. and Hattie (Gerrits) Baeten.

Donna was very proud of being a St Joseph Academy graduate, class of 1954. On May 20, 1967, she was united in marriage to Roy Bostedt. She was a homemaker most of her life until her later years when she worked for George M. Hougard and Sons as a secretary/receptionist until her retirement in 2000.

Faith family and friends is what she was all about. Donna had such a creative mind and would alter and design extraordinary things and could crotchet the most heartwarming afghans and doilies.

She always enjoyed a good time! Whether that was playing cribbage, playing pool, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, playing cards or games with her Domino Dollie's or just having fun with her beloved family and friends enjoying her favorite brandy manhattan in her hand. She was always ready to GIVER!

She is survived by her beloved children Mike (Kris) Bostedt, Tim (Lynn) Bostedt, Jill (Dean) Tackmier, her 6 grandchildren Jacob (Olivia) Bostedt, Brooklyn (Brandon) Del Tio, Robbie (Jayme) Perrigo, Shauna (Drew) Tackmier, Nick Bostedt and Ryan Bostedt and her precious great granddaughter Braelyn Del Tio.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Roy, her siblings and special friend Bob.

Friends and family may visit our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1305 Lourdes Ave., De Pere from 5:00PM – 7:00PM, Monday, February 2, 2026. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning at the Church from 9:00AM, until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating.
