Donna Marie Breck

It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of Donna Marie Breck, who left this world with family by her side on September 11th at the age of 73. Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted knowing she lived a life full of love, laughter, and happiness.

Born on August 14th, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in East Brunswick, NJ, Donna brought joy to everyone around her. She had a gift for making people feel seen and cherished, whether through a warm smile, a thoughtful word, or a helping hand. In 1983, Donna moved to Manalapan, NJ where she resided until her passing. Prior to her retirement, she was a supervisor at the East Brunswick Post Office.

Family was at the center of Donna's world. One of her greatest joys was spending time with the children in the family. She loved babysitting, not just out of duty but because she truly delighted in their energy and laughter-perhaps because she always carried a bit of childlike wonder herself. She also had a wonderful sense of humor, able to turn the simplest moments into fits of laughter. Those moments of play, silliness, and affection will be treasured by all who shared them with her.

Donna also loved to travel, most notably to Saint John. She would spend weeks there in the summer with family and close friends. It was her happy place and nothing would stop her from going every year. Donna would say "see you in 3 weeks, don't call, don't write."

Donna is predeceased by her parents Marie and John Breck, her brother Gary, and her dearest friend Alisa. She is survived by her sister Laura and her wife Gerrianne, her brother Wayne and his wife Cathy, her niece Danielle and her husband Chris, her great nephews Jaxon and Tyler, and her extended family Barbara Ann, Tino, Nicole, Caden, Cole, Chuck, Thea, and Becca . She also leaves behind countless friends who will remember her humor, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

Though our time together feels far too short, we are endlessly grateful for the love and memories Donna gave us. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched.

As Donna would say, "See ya later alligator!"
