Luyben Dilday Mortuary - Long BeachDonna Louise Bree, born on December 1, 1946, departed from this world on November 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth. She was diagnosed with cerebral amyloid angiopathy, a condition that ultimately took her from us, but it could never diminish the bright spirit she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A devoted mother, Donna is survived by her cherished son, Joe Bree, and her beloved daughter, Vicki (David) Adams. Her family brought her immense joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Donna was especially proud of her grandchildren: David (Kristin) French, and their sons great-grandsons, Ashton and Orion, and Stephanie (Ricky Bissett) French, and their sons, Kayden and Wyatt, lit up her life with laughter and love. She also leaves behind her grandson Ian Adams, who was a constant source of joy for her.
In remembering Donna, we cannot forget her great love for her husband, Joe Bree, who predeceased her in 1991. Their bond was a beautiful testament to love, inspiring those around them, and his memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Though she has left us physically, Donna's spirit will forever echo in the memories of her family and friends. She was a remarkable woman whose kindness touched many lives. As we gather to honor her life, we remember not only her resilience but also her laughter, her compassion, and the endless love she shared with those she held dear. Rest in peace, Donna. You will be missed but never forgotten.
