Donna C Brown, 75, of Verndale, passed away at the Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples. Visitation will be on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 5-7:00 PM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples and again one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Donna was born to Harry and May (Huntington) Snook on January 02, 1946 in Parkers Prairie, MN. She was married to Charles Brown, in Las Vegas. Donna was a very hard worker. She worked as a caregiver and nurses aid for over 30 years along with working on the farm, and she never missed a day of work. In her free time Donna enjoyed riding four-wheelers, camping, and campfires. In her older years, Donna never let her age define her. After retirement she continued working at the Staples Express and spent her time dancing, and sewing many quilts and rugs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived her son Floyd; daughter Carla; 7 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with another expected in September; and sisters Ethel and Marcella.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charlie; four brothers; five sisters; and mother-in-law Dora.
