Ms. Donna Watson Callahan, 61, of Roxboro, NC passed away August 1, 2023, at her home. Donna was the daughter of the late Donald Kemp “Donnie” Watson, Sr., and Joyce Williams Watson in Durham.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her brothers, Mark Andrew Watson, Thomas Bryant Browning and a sister, Lori B. Picard.
Donna will be deeply missed by her surviving family members and friends who held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her sons, William "Colby" Callahan of Clayton, NC, and Casey Brinson Price of Youngsville, NC. Her brother, Donald Kemp "Rocky" Watson (Jennifer) of Roxboro, NC; sisters Cathy B. Rudisill (Terry) and Brenda B. Lasater (David) also mourn her loss. In addition to her immediate family members, Donna leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Kinley J. Price, and Kamryn J. Price; brother-in-law, David Picard.
Donna's true joy in life came from spending time with her family and friends. She was a free spirit who loved to have a good time. She loved going to the beach and cherished every opportunity to visit there.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The Reverend Hugh O’Shields will officiate.
