Donna Langley Cannon, 71, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Oak City Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Chris Minton.

Donna was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, playing softball, and bowling, but her favorite way to spend her time was with her family. When visiting the beach, she loved simply seeing and hearing the waves. She loved to bake, especially her cobblers, and while she was very good at baking, she did not enjoy cooking.

After her stroke and the onset of dementia, Donna found peace and contentment, taking each moment as it came and finding joy in the small things. She sang, laughed, and told us she loved us every time she saw us. She brought smiles and laughter to those around her. Though even simple tasks required great effort, she never stopped trying and expressed gratitude to those who helped her.

Donna's life taught us not to take small things for granted, to have compassion and empathy for what others may be going through, to show patience and hold on to hope, to never quit trying, and to always have faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lester and Mary Wooten Langley; and brother, Gerald Alex Langley.

Donna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Anthony "Tony" Cannon; daughters, Christi Cannon (John Wettje) and Tracy Cannon; sister-in-law, Sandra Langley; nephews, Alex Langley and Shelton Langley; and many other family and friends.
