Donna Chambers, a beloved force of nature, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 1, 1949. She graduated from San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California. A true adventure seeker at heart, Donna was known for her spirited personality. She was a whirlwind of sass and charm, always managing to light up any room she entered. Those who knew her well will fondly remember her special boldness, as well as how beautifully she always presented herself.
Donna's love for life extended to her hobbies; she cherished car rides and road trips with her best friend Georgette, delighting in the thrill of the journey. She had a passion for arts and crafts and an eye for photography, capturing life’s moments with her signature touch. Also everything in Donna’s life had to be a shade of purple.
Family was everything to Donna. Her enduring partnership with her husband Fred began in middle school, and their relationship blossomed into a lifelong adventure together. For Donna, nothing brought her more joy than the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren, her pride in them shining as brightly as her vibrant personality.
As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we remember the laughter, love, and unforgettable adventures she shared with others. Donna Chambers leaves behind a legacy of strength, vibrancy, and unwavering devotion to family and friends, forever etched in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
The family would like to give special thanks to ones that cared for and stood by Donna’s side during one of the toughest seasons of her life. Special thanks to Christy Johnson, Debra Helm, Karen Hancock, Stephani Helm and her “favorite” nephew Brian Helm. Thank you to The Rock Church of Terrell for their love, prayers and well wishes.
