Donna Lenora Coleman, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at Willowbrook Assisted Living Center in Lake City, Florida, after an extended illness. Born on September 16, 1938, in Lake Butler, Florida, Donna was known for her caring, loving, and giving nature—a reflection of her Christ-like spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.

Her dedication to family was evident throughout her life, as she embraced the role of homemaker with grace and warmth. She found great joy in taking care of others, whether it was nurturing her children or making memories with her grandchildren. Donna's love for her family extended beyond the daily routines; she thrived in creating loving bonds and fostering a sense of togetherness.

Traveling was one of Donna's passions, especially during the years after her husband, Charles Eugene Coleman, retired. Together they spent roughly five years traversing the United States in their RV, exploring the beauty of nature and the joy of discovery. This shared love for travel not only enriched their lives but also deepened the connection they cherished.

Donna leaves behind her husband; her sons, Nelson (Tammy) Coleman and Jimmy (Candice) Coleman; and her grandchildren, Andrea West, Danny Coleman, Justin Coleman, Lenora Hedgespeth, and Ruby Diaz, as well as her great-grandchildren and one great great grandson - all of which will forever hold dear the memories of Donna's unconditional love and gentle guidance.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nelson Dekle and Ruby Dekle Handley, and her beloved daughter, Charlene Lenora Short, along with all her siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on March 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home, located at 55 N Lake Ave, Lake Butler, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.

The love Donna Lenora Coleman shared will forever illuminate the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
