State College, Pennsylvania - Donna Faye Coxey, 87, passed away on January 11, 2025.
She was born on November 8, 1937 to Myrtle Woods Fowkes (Hall) and Harry Fowkes in Denbo, Pa. On August 30, 1958 she married Paul E. Coxey Jr, in Greensburg, PA.
Donna's greatest joys were creating a loving home, volunteering with St. Johns Reformed Church and the YMCA, both of Hollidaysburg, and spoiling her cats. Donna loved to cook and sew and shared those talents with her grandchildren. She participated in many organizations in Bethel Park, PA. Donna worked as a secretary/office assistant, but her real vocation was volunteering and homemaking.
Donna was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, her mother, father, stepfather, and in-laws. She was especially close to her sisters Audrey (Kukish) and Sara (Montgomery).
In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her son, John Paul Coxey (Hollidaysburg); daughter-in-law Janice; daughter, Carrie Koch (State College), son-in-law John; and grandchildren, Neil, Tiffany, and Christine Coxey, and Rebecca and Kat Koch, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held at St. John's Reformed Church Hollidaysburg on Sunday, January 19 at 10:30 A.M. Memorial service and burial are private.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, Juniper Village Wellspring, or Grane Hospice.
