Donna M. Coyle, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, known for her unwavering love for her family, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Donna was born on December 13, 1939 in New London, Wisconsin to the late Elzy and Jeanette (Suprise) Collins. She married Michael Coyle on August 16, 1958, enjoying 55 years together before his passing in 2013.
While Donna provided endless support for the family business, Coyle's Tire & Auto, she also found time to raise their five children, and was known as "mom or Ma-Donna" to all their friends as well. Donna enjoyed her home on the Wolf River, tending her flower gardens, feeding the birds and watching the boats go by. She also loved going out to eat and attending social events. She had an outgoing personality and made friends everywhere she went. Being a lifelong resident of the area, you couldn't take her anywhere without running into someone she knew. Her friendly smile and the way she made the people she met feel loved and special will be remembered forever.
Donna is survived by her children, Mark Coyle (Lisa Dill), Diane Coyle, Beth (Jeremy) Hutchison, Paula (Scott) Ort; grandchildren, Sabrina Roethe, Michael (Amanda) Ort, Tanner Ort, Morgan Ort (Amber, Sadowski), Ashton Ort, Madeline Hutchison; great-grandson, Gavin Ort; along with her new great-grandaughter she was looking forward to meeting when she arrives in July.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; son, Brian; sister, Joyce Sawall; brothers, Everette Collins, and Richard Collins.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Donna will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. Visitation will be at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
