Donna Lee Craig passed away February 22, 2023, at the age of 78.
Donna was born on May 2, 1944, to Donald David Palmer and Waltsie Fay Hayes in Antioch, California.
Donna is survived by her children Charles Pate and Dawn Craig and grand-daughter Devyn MacRae.
In her early years, Donna worked for Ruddy's appliances where she managed work orders for the technicians who went out on service calls. Later she worked for the Visalia Medical Clinic as a supervisor for the switch-board operator and retired in 1995.
She was well-known as a loving, generous person who also possessed a firecracker attitude who lived the simple life. Donna loved her friends and her community and will be sorely missed but we will be lovingly remembered for her foul language, "salt of the earth" persona and "tell it like it is attitude". Those who crossed her were soon met with words of wisdom of "where to go and how to get there", with cigarette in hand while never spilling a drop of her Pepsi. She was married to Mel Craig for 50-years who passed away in 2021 and has now re-joined him wherever the wind takes them as they ride their Harley-Davidson throughout the countryside.
Donna will be laid to rest at the Visalia Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on March 8, 2023.
Services are listed at the Hadley-Marcom Funeral Home of Visalia website.
