Donna Creason Obituary

Visit the Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service and Cremation Care Centers website to view the full obituary.

Donna Creason, born June 14, 1941, in Okemah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Phyllis (Martin) and Lester Belcher and was raised in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Growing up, Donna cherished her time on her grandparents' farm, where her love for country life and family traditions blossomed. As a young girl, she often stayed with her grandmother Martin, who made homemade sauerkraut-something Donna mischievously snuck tastes of when no one was looking. Those farm days instilled in her a deep love of family and hard work that carried throughout her life.

At the age of 14, Donna married David Wilson, who was 18 at the time. Together, they shared more than 20 years of marriage, traveling wherever the U.S. Air Force took them. They built a family that became her greatest joy. She was the proud mother of six children: Rita Bevel, Peggy Eaton, Dianna Jones, David Wilson Jr., Stephen Wilson, and the late Nancy. Her children, grandchildren, and extended family were truly her heart, and she loved nothing more than building and nurturing a close-knit family.

Donna entered the workforce at Frankhoma Pottery before beginning a long career at American Heritage Bank in the mid-1970s. At the age of 35, she returned to school to proudly earn her GED, a personal accomplishment she treasured. She worked at the bank for nearly 20 years before retiring in 2002.

In 2004, Donna met and married Gene Creason, and they shared 21 happy years together. Their days were filled with simple joys-spending time at the lake, taking drives, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. Through this marriage, Donna also gained a special daughter, Pam McCall, and her husband, Darrel, with whom she shared many fond family memories.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Creason; parents, Phyllis and Lester; her brother, Roger Belcher; her daughter, Nancy; and her grandson, Michael Burke. She is survived by her sister Posie Hammons; her brother-in-law Jerry Creason and wife Carla; her children Rita, Peggy, Dianna, David Jr., and Stephen; her stepdaughter Pam (Darrel) McCall; her grandchildren William Burke and wife Shelly, Robin Anderson and Tiffany Eaton, JJ Mangrum and Charlie, Alicia Bevel and husband Scott, Shana Jeffries and husband Austin, Dallas McCall, Dalton McCall, and Kat; along with numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will continue her legacy of love.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., A graveside service will follow the funeral ceremony at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be William Burke, J.J.Mangrum Brayden Burke, Dallas McCall, Dalton McCall, and Aiden McCall/Talbert. Honorary pallbearers are Gavin Burke, Daxton McCall, Ginger and Robert.

Donna will be remembered for her strong spirit, her devotion to family, and her ability to find joy in both the little things and life's greatest milestones. Her story is one of love, resilience, and the unshakable bond of family.
