Donna Cummings Obituary
Born September 4, 1952, in Fairfield, Illinois, she grew up in Acton, Indiana, on her family farm, tending to horses and livestock. She graduated from Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis in 1970.
Donna devoted 18 years of her professional life as an executive assistant at Delta Faucet corporate offices in Indianapolis, retiring in 2018. Before her time there, she contributed her talents at Moen Incorporated.
Following her retirement, Donna made the heartfelt decision to move to Elyria to be closer to her beloved family, where her grandchildren and great-grandchildren became her loving priority.
While living in Indiana, she developed a love for horses that carried on throughout her life. She was a spiritual person, and her faith was a guiding light in her life.
Surviving are her devoted children, Jolene (Dan) Miller, Shad (Kelly) Briggs, and Jon Briggs; grandchildren, Kayla Kendall, Cody Kendall, Anthony Briggs, Justin Briggs, and Cutter Briggs; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Wyatt, Easton, and Weston, with one on the way. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Deb (Andy) Held and Susie (John) Gibbs.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held in the spring of 2026, honoring the wonderful memories she created and the love she shared with all who knew her.
