Donna Davis

1955 - 2023

On Friday evening, February 3, Donna Davis, 67, of Palm Harbor passed away after a long battle with polycystic kidney disease. Donna was born in Dade County to Joe and Willene Crenshaw. Donna was an avid reader from an early age and loved to share her knowledge and passion for literature with others. She was the first in her family to attend college and received a master's degree from UCF. Donna was a proud 5th generation Floridian who influenced many lives as an English teacher. Her hope was found in her relationship with Jesus, and she faithfully served at Bible Baptist Church in Palm Harbor. She loved music, especially James Taylor, and spent hours at the piano at home and at church. Donna took time every week to write letters to people to spread joy and hope. Those who knew her describe her as loyal, compassionate, strong, humorous, and genuine. She loved spending time with her family noting in her journal "You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you. - Desmond Tutu" Donna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by Rick her husband of 47 years, sisters Dana and Jean, brother Bill, son Michael, daughter Elisabeth, daughter in law Sara, and her four grandchildren Ryder, Ethan, Brynna, and Reece.
