Donna Dawson

Donna Marie Dawson was born December 16, 1958. She passed away on December 27, 2025. She was 67 years old.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Dawson, Jr., her father, Mattie M. Dawson, her mother and Claude Dawson, III, her brother. Donna leaves behind a loving family who will cherish all the family memories:

Her sisters: Opal Bacon (John), Barbara Johnson, Loretta Dawson, Lillie Foster (Cornell), Lisa Dawson. Her brothers: Glenn Dawson and Gerald Dawson. Her nieces: Michelle Bacon, Ester Marie Nero, Laura Bacon, Anisha Quiroz, Alisia Tyree, Shardai Dawson, Chelsea Odelugo, Candace Foster, Samantha Foster. Her nephew: John Michael Bacon, 8 grandnieces, 4 grandnephews, 2 great grandnephews, 1 great grandnieces, and a host of relatives, friends and workmates.

Donna finished high school and worked as a Janitor for several years. She worked at a trade school and from there she went into banking and finished her career at William P Clements for 20+ years and diligently worked her way up into management.

Donna dedicated her life and was baptized to do Jehovah's will on August 16, 1984.

Although Donna was very quiet and shy by nature, she loved the truth of God's word and would not hesitate to speak about God's truths to others, including her many co-workers and friends. She had a huge heart,and would do all she could for loved ones and friends.

Donna enjoyed her spiritual meetings, traveling, fishing, cooking, writing poetry, listening to music, movies (her favorite movies and shows were sci-fi). She also enjoyed playing games and working crossword and zig saw puzzles. During her travels she would always talk about the marvels of Jehovah's creations.

Donna will always live on in the hearts of all the lives she touched now and even more so in Jehovah's promised new world to come.
