Donna Rae Michelle DeVore, age 55, passed away on August 16, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Born in Gary, Indiana, to Donald C. and Mary K. Rogers, Donna was a resident of Vancleave and graduated from St. Martin High School in 1987. She was a devoted member of Ramsay Hill Baptist Church.
Donna was a strong and loving woman who cared deeply for others. She had a heart full of love and always put others first. Known for her cooking, she often fed the entire neighborhood, and no one ever left her house hungry. As a mother, she was incredibly caring, accepting, and welcoming. Her children and grandchildren were her world.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband and loved watching sad and funny movies. Donna cherished her life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and always greeted her husband at the door when he came home from work. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family.
Donna is preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Rogers; brother, Frank Rogers; sister Rebecca Falcone
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 37 years Jeff DeVore of Vancleave; six children, Pamela Medders of Gulfport, Deborah Chatham of Petal, Jeffrey DeVore of Vancleave, Anthony DeVore of Austin, TX, Jessika DeVore (Travis Childers) of Biloxi, Rebekah DeVore of Vancleave; grandchildren, Eric, Destiny, Elijah, Caroline, Wyatt, Amara; siblings, Teresa Carroll, Diana Mills, Daniel Rogers (Kathy), Katherine Cottrell (Bobby), Jeffrey Rogers (Kimberly); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 12:30 - 1:30 on Saturday August 24th 2024, at Ramsay Hill Baptist Church 13300 Joe Batt Road Vancleave, MS 39565.
