Donna Marie DiThomas

Donna DiThomas, age 72, of New Castle passed away on January 30, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV.
Donna DiThomas was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Victor Anthony Chill & Francis Mary (Dominick) Chill on September 12, 1949.
She graduated from New Castle high school in 1968 then started her family not long after by marrying her husband, Richard DiThomas on August 3, 1968, of whom she created a beautiful family for 52 years. Donna worked in retail & casino collections at the Hilton Casino just off the Las Vegas strip for many years before retiring in 2009.
Donna's passion was her family and the music she performed with her husband, children & close friends. They comprised a DooWop singing group called "Richie D & The Hi-Lites" and performed for over 15 years, partnering with the "Rock-Its" band of Southern California (also comprised of several family members) where Donna and her family would travel to play many shows between Southern California and Las Vegas. Donna not only sang in this DooWop group but she was also a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Choir called Revelation for over 25 years where she actively participated in church services on Sundays.
Donna DiThomas is preceded in death by her father, Victor Anthony Chill, mother, Francis Mary (Dominick) Chill & sister Carol (Chill) Elias.
Donna DiThomas is survived by her husband, Richard DiThomas, children, Richie DiThomas & Kelly DiThomas, brother Victor Chill, sister Dana (Chill) Humes.
Celebration of Life will be from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at McMullan's Irish Pub in the large banquet room. No funeral services will be held. The family wishes to Celebrate Donna's life the way she loved, with her family, friends and of course music!
The family of Donna DiThomas wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors who cared for her for over a decade especially Dr. Vish Sharma, Dr. Peter Licata; the medical staff at both Southern Hills Hospital and Desert Springs Hospital as well as staff, nurses, CNA's and Physical and Occupational therapists at Trellis of Centennial, Life Care Center of South Las Vegas & Nathan Adelson Hospice.
