Donna Dunajek Obituary
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Donna Jean spent her life creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake. She also enjoyed crocheting and working in her flower gardens. Her greatest joy was supporting and caring for her loved ones, and her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Frederick Dunajek III; her children, Fred Dunajek IV (Karen), Mike Dunajek (Susan), and Christine Phillips (Evan); grandchildren, Rick Dunajek V (Keisha), Bradley Dunajek (Lauren), Ashley Gruendler (Victor), Hannah Dunajek, and Logan Phillips (Payton); and great-grandchildren, Malachi, Skylar, Lila, Ian, Emrie, and Titus.
Besides her parents, Donna Jean is preceded in death by her grandson, Hunter Phillips; sisters, Helen, Joan, Barbara, and Nancy; and brothers, Willis and Albert.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00–2:00 PM at Hightower Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Donna Jean Dunajek will follow at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Wofford officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Dunajek, Bradley Dunajek, Logan Phillips, Malachi Dunajek, Skylar Dunajek, and Victor Gruendler.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
