Donna S. Eyer

Donna Sue (Strawn) Eyer, 79 of Girard, IL, passed away Saturday morning, February 28, 2026, at Lakeside Health Care in Carlinville, IL.

Donna was born June 17, 1946, in Springfield, IL, a daughter of Howard C. Strawn and Martha Louise (Burtle) Strawn. She graduated from Little Flower High School with the class of 1964. She married Dominic J. Langiano on June 19, 1965, they later divorced. She then married Gilbert "Joe" Eyer in January 2000, in Carlinville, IL.

Donna worked at Dickey-John for many years, she retired from there in 2008. She was very skilled with her hands both soldering and wiring products. She was an avid reader with her favorite author being Danielle Steele. More than anything else Donna loved to spend time with her family.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Tammy Sue Langiano, and sister-in-law Brenda J. Dozer.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, 260 Woodlawn Dr. Carlinville, IL 62626.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday March 9, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Brad Ferris.

Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Glenarm, IL.

Donna is survived by her husband, Gilbert "Joe" Eyer of Girard, IL, daughter, Deanna Stadge of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Angela Langiano of Noble, IL, daughter, Tina (Don) Beard of Carlinville, IL, grandson, Kyle Stadge, granddaughter, Amber Stadge, grandson, Victor Langiano-Meyer, granddaughter, Sarah Langiano-Meyer, grandson, Jack Beard, grandson, Andrew Beard, great granddaughter, Emma Stadge, and great grandson, Holdyn Still. Brothers-in-law Charlie E. Eyer, Irvin L. Eyer, Stanley W. Eyer, and sister-in-law Barbara C. Heredith.
