Donna Fahey Obituary
After marriage she lived in Matawan, New Jersey for over thirty-seven years. During that time, she earned an associate's degree from Brookdale Community College in Holmdal, New Jersey and raised three children.
She was a parishioner and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan where she was an active member of the Choir, supported Boy Scouts Troop #73 and other activities.
Upon her husband's retirement they moved to Lavallette, New Jersey. During her time there she was an active member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and the Toms River, New Jersey Red Hat Society. She also dedicated time to act as a volunteer with Simon's Soup Kitchen in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Donna is survived by her loving husband Michael Jr., Two sons Michael III, Matt and wife, Donna Fahey and daughter Daryl and husband, Bert Barker. Five grandchildren Morgan, Herbert "Trey" Barker, Cassidy, Kate and, Delaney Fahey.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Donna on Saturday January 18, 2025, from 9: 00 am until Service at 10:00 am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 706 Grand Central Ave. Lavallette, New Jersey. Donna's burials will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River, New Jersey.
A celebration of Donnas life will be held in the spring/summer of 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Knights of Columbus #8415 which supports Simon's Soup Kitchen in Seaside, New Jersey. There is a "Memorial Gift Donation Form" that can be printed and used for donations. To donate directly to Simon's Soup Kitchen via the following:
