Donna (Rodas) Fosner, age 61, of Kemp, passed away December 23, 2023. She is now with her greatest loves; her Lord and her father and mother.  Her family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 17th at 1:00pm.

Donna was born in Canandaigua, New York on October 29, 1962. She grew up in Farmington, New York.  She was the first child of Edith (Edi) Donna Williams, and Robert William Rodas.   She moved to Dallas, Texas in 1975.  She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1980.  Donna started her own cleaning business, and held various positions as an Administrative Legal Assistant and a Text Data Processor at General Dynamics, Fort Worth.  She met her husband, Jim on a plane flight from California on the 4th of July, and got married a year later, on June 26, 1990. Together, they had their son Ryan in July, 1991.  They purchased 50 acres in Kaufman County, Texas, and enjoyed the country life for the next 20 years until they bought a second home back in Lockport, NY to be close to her son and cousins.

Donna had a passion for cooking, and got great satisfaction from cooking for her family. Donna loved creating art rubber stamping cards and scrap books. She had her own craft building devoted to it. She was also very patriotic, and an active member of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Bluebonnet Chapter 13, after Ryan joined the Marine Corp and deployed to Afghanistan.  Donna loved animals, but family was most important to her, including her many cousins.

Donna leaves behind her husband Jim; son, Ryan; daughters, Jasmine Patterson and husband Daniel, Lindsey Foreman and husband Jim; grandchildren, Maximus (Max) Fosner, Karra Fosner, Faith Foreman, Patience Foreman, and Madison Hartung; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Rob Rodas; and nieces, Melanie Rodas and Emily Rodas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Jordan Taylor.

Donna’s family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Blue Star Mothers of America.

Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home of Kemp, TX.
