Donna L. Fromwiller, age 71 of Solon, died October 21, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Eleanor (nee Thompson) and Wallace Fromwiller; dear sister of Cheryl (the late Jon) Ockunzzi and Bruce (Pam) Fromwiller; loving aunt of Kelly (Aaron Cummings,) Cory, Casey, and Kristy (Mark Kmit) Ockunzzi, Katy Fromwiller and the late Jay; great-aunt of Melissa and the late Tessa Weaver, Forest and Julia Cummings, and Blake Tilley.

A caring, kindhearted, yet unconventional and challenging woman, Donna seemed to live much of her life on a separate frequency from her peers. She was a lover of nature whose favorite memories included her time spent outdoors with family or being with her father in the garden. A Catholic at heart, Heaven now embraces this curious redhead, who is undoubtedly still laughing when no one else does and delighting at the animals around St. Francis' feet.

Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Family will hold a private gathering in remembrance. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The National Loon Center https://www.nationallooncenter.org/ or The Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation https://giresearchfoundation.org/

"Let the fern unfurl your grieving, / let the heron still your breathing / Let the selkie swim you deeper, / oh my little silver-seeker / Even as the hour grows bleaker, / be the singer and the speaker / And in city and in forest, / let the larks become your chorus / And when every hope is gone, / let the raven call you home." – Robert Macfarlane, "The Lost Words Blessing"
